OLEDs are diodes that use organic materials to produce light. These organic materials are packed between conductors that are lit up when electricity is passed through them. OLED lighting panels are used to create digital displays in electronic appliances such as TVs, computer monitors, cellphones, and gaming consoles. OLEDs are lighter and thinner than LEDs.
